Cream, pale brown to pink in colour. Heavy and/or minimal feature. Straight grain
Similar to the other American timber species with a consistent overall tone with minimal feature. A more white finish than the American Oak.
Mostly light and dark brown in colour with the odd blonde streak, can sometimes look purple. Usually straight grain.
Light and dark brown to deep reds and pale blondes. Straight grain with the occasion gum vein.
Light coloured blonde/yellow with brown flecks through the grain. Minimal feature. Straight grain.
Derived from Mountain and Alpine ash, pale pink and brown, very minimal feature.
Blonde/honey coloured with maximum feature. Big deep grain and gum veins.
Varies in colour from pale browns to light yellows. Rich in detail and often featuring gun veins.
Blond with a often pinkish tone. very minimal feature with a general consistent character.
